We pride ourselves on making your charter hassle free, enjoyable and fun. We have strict Terms and Conditions, which must be shared with all fellow guests before embarking on a Valentina Charter.
If you do proceed with a Valentina Charter, we accept your agreement to these Terms.

Ensuring your safety is of paramount importance to our crew at all times. Every precaution is taken before and during your charter to ensure you receive the best service possible.
For your safety and that of all guests, poor behaviour will not be tolerated in any capacity. In the event of drunken, rude and unacceptable behaviour, we reserve the right to terminate the charter with immediate effect. We also reserve the right to refuse entry onboard Valentina Charters if we deem any guests are not fit to travel. The refusal on these grounds will not be liable for any refund of monies paid.
We ask that all guests adhere to charter times and be on time for agreed return journeys. Failure to turn up on time will result in an additional late fee payment of £250 per hour or termination of your charter and you will be liable to make your own way home.
We politely remind you that our skipper and crew work hard to ensure you enjoy your charter at all times. It is important that all guests listen and abide by our crew’s instructions throughout the charter.
Please ensure that all guests are aware of our Terms and Conditions prior to your charter.
CREW NUMBERS
Your charter costs include a commercially endorsed skipper and relevant crew, all prices stated make provision for this. It is important that each passenger listens and complies to all crew instructions throughout the charter.
THE SKIPPER
If you do have any problems or questions during the charter, the skipper is your go-to person. In most instances a solution will be found quickly. The skipper is in charge of the yacht and everybody onboards safety and this has to be his priority. If the skipper decides it is necessary to re-arrange a port of call for reasons beyond our control including the weather, we are unable to offer a refund or compensation. For your safety, please ensure that you follow the skipper’s instructions at all times.
SEA SICKNESS
If you suffer with or have previously, please consider this may not be the best experience for you. We advise guests to take sea sickness tablets as instructed. If you are unfortunately sick anywhere inside of the boat, we charge a fee to have the yacht professionally cleaned. Minimum charge £250
PAYMENT TERMS AND CANCELLATIONS
We take a 20% non refundable deposit which secures your booking date. Full payment is due no later than 14 days before your departure date. We don’t have a cancellation fee, however you will lose your deposit unless you decide to move your date. We require notice of 14 days to cancel or move your charter. Upon payment of your deposit, you have accepted to comply with our Terms and Conditions.
FORCED CANCELLATION
If your charter is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, we will offer an alternative mutually suitable date for you or if requested a full refund.
DAMAGES
You are fully liable for any damage you or your fellow guests cause to the boat. We always conduct a departure briefing which covers all the relevant information however if you have any questions, please ask our friendly crew. Please ensure you respect the boat at all times and use the facilities with care and respect. We request that you bring soft hand luggage instead of hard suit cases. Failure to do so, will incur a cost for any damage incurred. You must listen and comply with the Crew’s instructions at all times.
DISABILITY
Boats are not ideally suited to those with mobility problems. We want to extend our invitation to join us on a Valentina experience to as many people as possible but we also want the experience to be enjoyable. Things we would like you to consider are: getting on and off the boat, tackling the stairs on board, doorways and our toilet compartments have restricted space. MEDICAL CONDITIONS
If you do have a medical condition, it’s essential you make us aware. All information will remain completely confidential. Although our skipper and crew have basic first aid training, this may not be sufficient enough to deal with your condition if you fall ill whilst at sea. Rest assured, we have constant radio contact with the emergency services but help can sometimes take longer to arrive.
BEHAVIOUR ONBOARD
We do not tolerate any form of abusive or aggressive behaviour towards any of our crew members. Any such behaviour will result in immediate termination of your charter. All parties will be disembarked at the nearest port we consider safe. The rest of the charter will be forfeited without refund.
We do not tolerate drugs being consumed or transported on Valentina. Any suspected drug use on board will result in the action stated above with no exceptions.
DRINKS ON BOARD
Although we allow alcohol consumption onboard, it is requested this is kept to sensible limits. This is to ensure you are kept safe, as well as our crew and other guests. The skipper and crew reserve the right to ask you to stop consuming alcohol. If any passengers behaviour is deemed to put the vessel, other passengers or crew at risk, this will result in the party being disembarked at the nearest port we deem safe, without a refund.
SMOKING
Valentina is a no smoking vessel.
LIFEJACKETS
We ask that you follow our instructions during the safety briefing before departure. This includes the location of life jackets in case of an emergency. Our crew will demonstrate fitment of your lifejacket.
CHILDREN
We welcome guests of any age on board Valentina. However, any damage caused by guests will be charged at full cost to repair or replace. Our guest’s safety is our number one priority and an unruly child can be a hazard on board. If the skipper deems it necessary to abandon your charter due to a child’s behaviour we will disembark you at the nearest port we deem is safe to and no refund will be given.
CANCELLATION OF YOUR CHARTER DUE TO MECHANICAL FAILURE
Valentina is a well maintained Yacht. Mechanical issues are rare but can happen. In the event of such a failure, we will make every effort to continue with your charter providing it is safe to do so. In the event of a cancellation or partial cancellation, any refunds will be limited to the cost of charter or any unexpired part of your charter. We will offer alternative arrangements.
