FAQs for Valentina Charters
Valentina is based at Port Solent Marina. On the day of your charter, please meet us at the outer waiting pontoon, located next to the marina reception. For parking, follow the signs to the Sunsail car park. Proceed along the boardwalk towards the lock and the outer waiting pontoon. You may need a code to access the pontoon which we can send to you on the day.

The nearest station if you are traveling by train is Portchester, from here it is a 5 minute taxi journey to Port Solent Marina reception. If you are traveling by car, drive to Port Solent Marina, PO6 4TJ, and follow the signs to park in the Sunsail Car Park.
We welcome guests to bring their own refreshments and drinks to enjoy throughout the charter.
We ask that you do not bring red wine and other dark coloured drinks due to the risk of staining the boat. Any damage as a result of spillages of any kind will be chargeable.
Please also bring soft hand luggage and no hard suitcases that could cause damage to the boat.
The weather can be very changeable and we will never sail in dangerous conditions. We will be in contact with you the week before your charter to confirm the last details and closely monitor the weather. In the rare event that we have to postpone due to weather, we would rearrange to another date.
If you need to cancel your charter please let us know as soon as possible. If possible, we will move your booking to a more suitable date so you don’t lose your deposit payment.
We are fully insured and coded by the MCA to take a maximum of 12 passengers, plus our crew. We are MCA coded to Category 2: 60 miles from a safe haven, day and night.
Ensuring your safety is our top priority. Our skipper, Glenn is a commercial endorsed Yachtmaster and all crew hold STCW commercial qualifications. Valentina is also equipped with all the relevant and latest safety equipment to keep you safe on the water.
On the day of your charter a safety briefing will take place onboard to familiarise you with the vessel, her crew and safety equipment.
